A Christian education integrates knowledge under the Word of God, developing all the scholar’s faculties under the Lordship of Christ. How does this affect how we think about education?

• 1 Education is never neutral. Every subject must be viewed through the lens of Scripture.
• 2 The aim of classical education is the formation of virtue and cultivation of proper affections. Only a self-conscious Christian education can rightly do this.
• 3 We partner with parents as they strive to obey God’s command in Deuteronomy 6:4–9. We equip parents to train up their children in the way they should go, believing that even when they are old they will not depart from it (Prov. 22:6).

What does it profit a man if he gains the world but loses his soul? A Christian education takes this warning from our Lord seriously. It is our aim that the graduating scholar is a young man or woman who loves and serves God.
